Kim Pitts, DDS
I am a native of Murfreesboro!! I am delighted to live here in my home town and provide dental care to other natives and new comers alike. I grew up living with who I believed to be the greatest dentist in the city, my father Dr. Robert L. Dryden and my mother Linda Dryden who also have deep roots in this great city.
I attended Middle Tennessee State University graduating with a B.S. before enrolling in The University of Tennessee, College of Dentistry. In 1997 I received my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and began private practice with my father. That same year I married Joseph Kennon Pitts. Joe is an important part of my life personally and professionally. Read his bio, he takes care of a lot in my office so that I can focus on patient care.
Joe and I are members of Believer's Chapel church, which I have attended since 1978. My church family is very important to me and I could not accomplish anything without the constant intercession of my Lord Jesus Christ. When Joe and I are not working we enjoy being outside participating in activities such as golf, water skiing, boating, fishing, snow skiing, or anything else that can be done outdoors. I don't have any children, but I have the sweetest dog (shih tzu) in the world. My vacations are usually where the dental meeting is, I love to learn all I can about being a better dentist. I promise you will never get "last years model" if you choose me to be your dentist.

Achieving Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry is one of the few added distinctions a general dentist can achieve. To earn Fellowship in the AGD, dentists must take more than 500 hours of educational courses in various disciplines. Candidates must also pass a rigorous exam. Only 7 percent of general dentists have achieved this honor and Dr. Pitts is one of them.
